Fakültype Font Talks

Fakültype Font Talks was a school project I did at Marmara University, centered around font discussions and workshops.

The name of the project is a combination of the words 'Fakülte' (Faculty) and 'Type.'

In the logo, I used the Anton and IFWSLA+VulfMonu-Black fonts. One is regular, sans-serif, and condensed, while the other is italic, mono, and very dynamic.

I also used some minuscule letters. My goal was to create an eclectic look, as I believed this approach would reflect the multi-voiced and dynamic nature of font history, different designer portfolios, and font workshop exhibitions. I did not use color because I believed the relationships between the typefaces were sufficient to convey the concept.
